Produced in 2022 by Tsung-lung Tsai the film „And Miles to Go Before I Sleep“ won Best Documentary Feature at the 59th Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, 2022. On 31 August 2017, Nguyen Quoc Phi, an undocumented Vietnamese worker, was shot dead by a policeman in Hsinchu, northern Taiwan. The documentary shows the system of exploitation of migrant workers behind this police murder. The film edited the footage of the fatal shooting in order to foreground the injustice of the recruitment system and the associated challenges for workers.
